The Window Pain

Welcome to TheWindowPain.com

This is a website for those seeking answers to their suffering. Suffering induced by complex pain conditions, family/personal illnesses, or any other tragedy that has laid siege on their lives.

On this website you will find information for self-efficacy, books for self-education, the current research on healing strategies, and remedies to pain that are not traditionally offered in the medical field.

My personal journey with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) inspired me to create this website to help those who have lost hope.

“Suffering ceases to be suffering once we can form a clear and concise picture of it”

-Viktor E. Frankl

”I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”
- 2 Corinthians 12:9

“Misfortune is virtue’s opportunity. I wish it hadn’t happened, but I am at least learning what pain is. I am exploring my tolerance for it. I am growing because of it.”
- Seneca the Younger

“When touched with a feeling of pain, the ordinary uninstructed person sorrows, grieves, and laments, beats his breast, becomes distraught. So he feels two pains, physical and mental. Just as if they were to shoot a man with an arrow and, right afterward, were to shoot him with another one, so that he would feel the pains of two arrows.”

- Gautama Buddha
